This murder of crows is a part of my daily mid- Winter commute, passing by as I leave for work each morning, but its the gathering on the way home thats truly a spectacle, several hundred make their way through my Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood, congregating in almost every tree, the sight and sound is incredible and spiritual.

This wonderfully dramatic image sets a singular, intriguing, and fantastical mood. I really enjoyed reading the backstory, too! We rarely see crows here, but when one passes through the neighborhood, it rings out with a call that sounds like nothing else; I can't imagine the sound of hundreds!
Putterhug Studio replied:
Thank you Wendy, so glad you liked this one! It really can be quite the experience, one very memorable October evening, just around sunset, sitting atop a hillside in a Minneapolis cemetery overlooking the city, we were getting shots of the sunset as a seemingly endless string of crows left the cemetery. It truly was a surreal and spiritual moment. This congregation is most likely the same murder of crows that we witnessed that evening, only this was shot the following Spring about 3 miles to the West.
