Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. About John Richardson
John Richardson began photographing while in the U.S. Army in 1974. Upon leaving the army, he studied religion but soon returned to making art. He worked for many years with large format cameras, making platinum/palladium and other alternative process prints. He has taught basic photography, color photography, and large format photography at several Los Angeles area community colleges. He was a founding member of "The Los Angeles League of Platinum Printers", and has led workshops in printing platinum and in handcoloring black and white photographs. Currently John shoots primarily digital, often creating digital watercolors with his images.
