Awww!!! This is such a fantastic image, dearest Mick!!!! First, you've got your adorable little guy Johnny there, posing so wonderfully for you, and then second, you've got that absolutely gorgeous background, with the stunning mountain and clouds!!!! I just love it, my friend!!! :)))))fv

Mick Anderson replied:

Thank you SO MUCH for those kind comments and thoughts, my dear Laurie!! I hope to get more shots there again this year in just a couple of weeks :)) And, yes, Johnny will be there, too! *)

Oh what a majestic background for this little guy's portrait! Such a cute series. Reminds me of the stunt - where somebody stole a gnome yard ornament, took it on a tour of famous sites and sending the photos back to the owner of the gnome who they took it from ... heh heh Vf Where will Johnny the Corgi be photographed next? :) VF

Mick Anderson replied:

Hi Christy!! And thank you for the wonderful comments :) Yes, where WILL Johnny be photographed next? What you don't see is the photoshopped-out leash he was tethered to!!

Cool! I like this composition!

Mick Anderson replied:

Thanks Anna! It's hard NOT to get a great shot in this place :)

Beautiful shot Mick! I love mountains, lavendar and dogs (all animals), this shot captures it all so beautifully....great perspective compostion! You have an impressive portfolio! f/v

Mick Anderson replied:

Thank you Linda! So kind of you to say so :) And I can tell by your avatar that your dog thinks very highly of you, too!!

Cute dog, beautiful scene! What a wonderful lighting and a fantastic combination! Bravo!

Mick Anderson replied:

That's my little cutie Corgi! Thanks for the kind words, Xueling :)

I am in love with "My Tropical Kitchen" purse. I also am deeply dissatisfied however, that there is no mention of Jade Moon's name on the product. Her work is more than worthy of her name to be associated with her beautiful products. People constantly mention that my purse is beautiful as I display it on a counter at a point of sale. I have to tell them whose work it is. Everyone recognizes her name. Jade Moon deserves recognition for her talent as an artist; her name should be on the product. PX Pixels is meaningless to me. I wish it wasn't sewed in to the seam. I am so proud of my "My Tropical Kitchen" purse. I bought it for myself on my 80th birthday. I would be thrilled if Jade could autograph it for me. I am sorry I have no means to take or send a photo.

About Mick Anderson

Mick Anderson

While in college, Mick had the opportunity to work at St. Mary Lodge at the east entrance to Glacier National Park in Montana. It was in this magical place where he met several fellow students from other parts of the country who would change the direction of his life by introducing Mick to nature, the mountains, the guitar and singing, fly fishing, writing music, hiking, and -- most importantly -- the Single Lens Reflex camera! He had a chance to play with Pentacon, Yashica, Pentax, Nikon and other brands, leading cameras of the day. It opened up a whole new way of looking at the world, and started a hobby that quickly grew into a passion that has stood the test of many years. His first “real” camera was a Yashica “Electro-35”...
