Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
Artist's Description
For this Memoryscape, I chose to add abstractions of the air and the sea to engage the viewer. Since you can't tell if they are near or far, it engages the viewer in a creative way to look deeper. You may notice that the paint job on the sail matches the supports for the bridge, this is also to close the gap in space--in mind, and to look deeper.
About David Corrigan
To make mine a unique "voice" in the chorus of artists singing to us throughout history with their own visual languages, I came up with a new visual style. I call this my Memoryscape Period. I try to paint the way we create memories in a moment. There's always so much that demands our attention, while we try soaking it up the best we can.
