The clear blue sky of autumn is unique in its blueness, as if the cooler weather of fall bathes the firmament with a deep, translucent wash. Set against the colors of the trees, the entire landscape becomes one of fleeting, magical fantasy. From one day to the next the colors change, and the vibrancy of both flora and sky retain their intensity for a short amount of time. I am a fine art painter who creates representational images celebrating light, life, and color. A commercial illustrator for more than 20 years, I have been painting for most of my life, and in the last 13 years have focused exclusively on fine art.
