Growing up in the 1980s, I remember times around Christmas, when our family would haul presents over to one of my relatives house to celebrate together. My brothers and I would carry as many presents as we could. This painting was an opportunity to portray a family arriving for some Christmas fun and memories. The backdrop includes mountains reminiscent of those near my hometown and stretches of farmland, creating a scene that encapsulates the spirit of "Country Holidays."
