This yoga mat is very different than the previous ones I have ordered . Different material , different texture, much more slippery , mo carrying bag . I much preferred the previous version . Will it be back ?

I used my new yoga mat for the first time today and I really felt the difference. The mat did not slip and I felt grounded and secure in my yoga poses for the first time. I am pleased with the printed image too. Just wish that production of the mat would take less time.

Pros: Print quality is impressive. My design was pretty detailed and it came out very nice. Cons: The mat is not 72 inches as advertised. It's actually 68 inches. This may not be a big deal, but it's worth noting. The surface is very slippery. It's not a mat that can be realistically used as a yoga mat. I have a mouse pad that looks like an oriental rug, and the texture of this mat mimics that mouse pad... very smooth. The digital image I created was to the exact dimension the site requires, however it still didn't fit into the online tool. Even with some fine tuning of size and position, the ends were cut off. The corners of the mat are also rounded, not square like the picture shows. I decided to keep it because it just looks cool. It'll be used as a runner in my house somewhere. 2 stars because ultimately, this is supposed to be a yoga mat, and it realistically can't be used as one.

I purchased these yoga mats for my daughter who is a Yoga Instructor. She said they were so slippery she could not use them. The fabric is apparently too slick for doing stable yoga poses. Thought you might want to know about that.

The graphic on this mat is beautiful, and the mat itself is a solid material. My only let down is that the top surface although soft to the touch, is a little too slippery for serious flow yoga.
