Have just revisited a local conservation park that is always rather funI
This is the original colour version of the picture.

I have not been here for over a year so not sure if these are the same monkeys I saw before. They always seem extremely sentient to me, and rather unhappy, but hope thats just me projecting and misreading expressions! but I seriously could not get him to look at me directly at all, even though I did stand there for an hour and a half - and he sat there all the time, looking everywhere but at me.

They are considered to be critically endangered due to an estimated population loss of more than 80% over 45 years, from hunting and human encroachment on its range of habitation.

I think this one is Colombian, and seems to have much shorter hair than the ones I saw last year.

Shot with a Nikon D7100 using a 18-300 Nikkor lens.
