Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I chose to paint the natural landscape environment of this black bird loosely, wetly and intuitively, with plenty of intentional blooms, abstraction and room for interpretation. Is it the beach, the desert, or....? It is what it is to you! The square format provides a certain modern quality.

I have always loved crows and ravens. I feel a mysterious connection to them; the shiny, iridescent layered colors of the feathers, dark silhouette, mischievous, playful nature, raucous cawing, magical and otherworldly associations, myths and legends, goofy walk, soaring flight, strong beak, delightful personality.........

Crows and Ravens are from the same family and the only real physical difference between the two is their size. Ravens tend to be much larger and are found mainly in wildernes...
To me, making art is about the stopping of time, as are so many of the things I most love doing. I don't believe in time as we know it. When I become engaged in creating something, I no longer feel subject to time's constricting whims. That is why I am driven to create. I love the light touch and thrilling chemistry of watercolor painting, the bold strokes possible in pastel work, the patterns I can create with an ink drawing, and learning something new, always. Color thrills me. Texture delights. I hope with each work to retain the clarity of what I see, and bring that into view for others.
