I purchased three of these notebooks for gifts and I am thrilled with the purchase. Everything about the notebook is quality- the paper, the reproduction of the print and the way they were bagged for shipping. I will be back to purchase more soon.

The seventh USS Ranger (CV/CVA-61) is one of four Forrestal-class supercarriers built for the US Navy in the 1950s, commissioned in 1957. Although all four ships of the class were completed with angled decks, Ranger had the distinction of being the first US carrier built from the beginning as an angled deck ship. Commissioned in 1957, she served extensively in the Pacific, especially the Vietnam War, for which she earned 13 battle stars. Near the end of her career, she also served in the Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf.
Ranger was decommissioned in 1993, and was stored at Bremerton, Washington until March 2015. She was then moved to Brownsville for scrapping, which was completed in November 2017.
This artwork is relatively new in the art world, a new kind of art. As opposed to conventional painting or photography, digital art allows a person to render any image on to any scenery, thereby creating a whole new class of artists. What it also allows those of us who are historians, is to create photos of military history like they were just taken, instead of some historical grainy black and white photo. While these artistic creations may not be considered 'real' art or genuine photography, it is undeniable that this kind of art is here to stay. I am one of those Digital Artists. I do military art. My name is Michael Colclough .
