Thanks, David...its always interesting to see how other artists work. I grab about five colors...the way I feel that day. I'll keep that in mind. I rarely use black. I like Paynes Gray.

Ultramarine, a favorite of mine. I'm not a big fan of purple but have been told numerous times to use it because I don't.

Charlie, dioxazine is essentially what I harmonize colors with. I don't use any black on my palette and because I paint essentially with 4 colors, purple is the only premix I use so it is my 5th color.

Its ultramarine Charlie. I don't use cobalt but you are right about the dioxazine.
