Fierce artwork! Item looked exactly as pictured and nothing was distorted. Very vibrant rich colors! I bought it as a birthday present for someone and they loved it! Only issue is it was so awesome I wanted to keep it for myself!

Although the edges of the design was a bit blurry it was still a really nice tote bag for the beach.

Good quality canvas, and the photos looks great.

I was very disappointed as the picture on the front of the bag has a black background but the lining on all of these bags is grey. It looks so dreadful I’m sure it even looks worse with a light or pastel coloured cover. As you use it this grey keeps showing giving it a cheap look. it would be so much better without lining if grey is the best you can do. Also the fabric is too soft and droops if the bag isn’t full. So you end up having a droopy bag with grey lining showing. It would be so much better to make this style in the fabric you use in the standard tote. It keeps its shape and the image on this fabric is much clearer. Also it doesn’t need to be lined.

Artist's Description

DU Rounds is a project I stumbled onto one day reading a UK newspaper, I came to this image of a soldier handling DU rounds (depleted Uranium). I didnt give it much thought; I just thought at the time that it was an interesting image I might use in the future. About 3 or so months went by and I had totally forgotten about the image, when it came up again. So, I thought Id do an etching of it trying a new technique, incorporating sign making industry techniques and technology into the old world art of etching, I tried it a couple times before with some interesting results. So I gave it a shot. It was rough in the beginning because I didnt have a path for this plate to go down until a good friend told me that to make the piece more interesting I should paint some paper and print on that. I did and found it fun and interesting so I kept on going for about 10 more. Then is when I had an epiphany, that this would be a project that could help a lot of people. My father is a Vietnam vet wh...

About Erik Paul

I started my artistic journey as a child, in the early 90s I stumbled upon my passion, printmaking. On a whim and needing 3 more college credits, I added Beginning Etching to my class schedule taught by renowned print maker Kevin Fletcher, who later became my mentor and very dear friend. I was amazed to find that you could make art by just taking a copper, zinc or most any other metal or flat material, to print multiple copies of your artwork. It was like a light bulb went off in my head, I always loved working with my hands, building cars (VWs), furniture, sculptures, and just figuring out how things work in general. Professionally, I made a career in graphic design and sign making. I found that this worked hand in hand with my...
