Mixing ancient Romanian (Dacian) and Amerindian mythologies with some surrealism and such was a pleasure to paint! Wish I didn't sell it! (don't even remember to whom...)

Most interesting dreamcatcher DAnu. Very fine art work indeed. Your surrealist art is always so well accomplished. Inviting many interesting thoughts. V/F/SU

A surrealist, fantastical, mystical and supernatural landscape figuring a Dacian Dreamcatcher with some other weird creature and critters, paint in acrylics on heavy w/c paper.

I like this very imaginative and unique image and dreamcatcher.

Ion vincent DAnu replied:

You discovered my dreamcatcher! Thanks, Carol! Glad you like it - as much I liked yours, I hope!

V/F - I really enjoy your flights of fancy:>). Keep bringing these critters and creatures out of your mind and into our lives. (aka MotherNature)

Ion vincent DAnu replied:

Ah, how I like to say this: Thank You MotherNature! (BTW: did you know there is a celtic deity, Danu, a kind of Mother Nature? I choose this name for that and for the Yang-Yin significance in my native tongue... Danu means Yes-No in Romanian...)

This is an amazing piece Ion, gorgeous blend of color and really interesting mystical figures. V/F

Ion vincent DAnu replied:

Merši and thank you, Sharon! Good to be back, after a few day of sick leave...
