Description
A line is a dot that went for a walk....Paul Klee
This is an artwork done by my father, George Wood, when he was a student at the now Columbus College of Art and Design. It is a minimal drawing where just one line is used . . . you start at one point with your pencil or pen down on the page and when you lift it up, you are done! He did several animals in this style and had one chosen to be permanently installed at a local Columbus School. Many of what I have are sketches that I have worked on to clean the effects of time on paper. It is really a gift for me to work a little bit on Dad's work!

Amazing how he's captured the essence of a duck in just a few lines! f/v
