The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

The calves are curious
and stand posing
for the camera.
The barn is very old,
a vintage 100-year old
stone and wood calving barn,
painted a bright red,
the red metal roof glowing
in the late day sunlight
through the ornamental
pear trees.
The air smells like hay
and manure
as the day ends
and the coolness
of the evening sets in.
This farm is in
the Smoky Mountains
of western North Carolina
near the borders of Georgia
and Tennessee.
The Blue Ridge Appalachian
mountains are full of small
family-owned farms.
This one is in a pretty valley
between the mountain ridges,
tucked into the beautiful Smokies...
