This piece combines the transformational energies of fire and dance. I made this painting immediately upon returning from Burning Man in September, 2017. I spent a lot of time there watching people's incredible artwork burn up in front of the desert landscape. The glorious fires helped me release a lot of energy that I didn't need to be carrying around in my life anymore. The rest of the time, I danced and danced and danced. Creating and soaking up fantastically fun experiences. "Dance Fire" is meant to bring that energy to you, of shaking things up, releasing the blasé and creating fun, fantasy, joy and rejuvenation.
