The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This was a work I did just out of high school. I love the colors and actually this is a medium I just don't work with all that often because it is so messy. All in all I think it is a striking piece.
