Beautiful and colorful macro of dandelion losing seeds. I photographed the dandelion first thing in the morning. This image is part of a series of dandelion I created as an artistic exercise. Every morning I would first go out and create a different image, no two would look alike. I received so my attention on my social media account that I decided to paint this collection of images and made them my BFA thesis. The dandelion is one of the most misunderstood plants. It has so many health benefits but we are conditioned to think of dandelion as a weed. Dandelions are the first and last food of the year for honey bees and another beneficial insect.
