Love the three tapestries I purchased! Monet, Renoir, Degas, all equally beautiful!, Quality, timely delivery, just as advertised! I use them as bedspreads. Very decorative, tasteful, just the artististic touch needed in the bedrooms. Thank you Fine Art America!

Love it! Ordered two more Cameron Gray pieces; hopefully the tapestry option will become available for all of his art that you carry!

Artist's Description

The Dark Blue Tiger (Tirumala septentrionis) is a Danaid butterfly found in the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia. Closely resembles Tirumala limniace, Cramer, but is always sufficiently distinct to be easily recognized, even on the wing. From T. limniace it differs on the upperside in the ground-colour being darker and the semihyaline markings narrower, more distinct, and of a bluer tint, In the fore wing, in interspace 1 the two streaks are narrower, never coalescent, the upper one forming an oval detached spot; the short streaks above vein 5 are outwardly never truncate, always acute. In the hind wing the two streaks if the discoidal cell united at base are wide apart at their apices, the lower one never formed into a hook. On the underside this species is generally darker, the apex of the fore wing and the whole of the ground-colour of the hind wing not being of the conspicuous golden brown that they are in Tirumala limniace. Expanse: 80-115 mm. Featured In: BUGS BUGS A...

Somewhere along the line I was given a 110mm instamatic camera and didn't buy my first and only 35mm camera, a Nikon EM, in the early 80's. In 2002 at a family reunion, my uncle was showing me his digital camera. I was totally fascinated at the idea of being able to take as many photos as I wanted without having to buy film or have it developed. Shortly afterwards, I bought my first digital camera, the Sony Mavica CD400. I used...
