I’ve received many positive comments, but I haven’t exactly told people the title. It is beautiful. Also, the case is very rugged.

I was told 38 yrs ago it was circa 1650 Sounds like a tv show I’ve never seen but honestly paid $200 for the frame at a junk/antique shop and painting was in it but damaged and I had it repaired . Total price $200. Murillo had several people copy his work in the 1700s and 1800s but I’ve had this one carbon dated 1654 three times! He would have been 37 yrs old and no one yet was copying or he not that recognized. An art expert in N.Y. is telling me it’s not original but radio isotopes don’t lie. Scratching my head now of what to do . Wayne

This is such good protection for my phone! Yes, I have dropped it a couple times and my phone was fine! What a blessing! I don't use my phone a lot in public, but I've had many people ask where I got it - even several people in Fiji! I wish I had a picture of two young boys looking at it! They were in awe!

I loved the name of the art, as well as the colors. The heavy case is very protective and easy to find in my purse...and reminds me to remain hopeful always!

This is my second of these. My first for my iPhone6 had great color. My second, for my iPhoneXR, the colors are a bit washed out. Not as happy with this one.

Artist's Description

Original painting of my envision of the exile from television of my boyhood idol. Growing up in the early 50's, not many people could afford television. Nor were there many programs for children. One family on the block had a television, and every day at 4:30 p.m. they would turn it around so that the neighborhood kids could view a certain program through their screen door. Buffalo Bob would come on and ask "What time is it kids"? And we would sing out "It's Howdy Doody time"! He may be in an old warehouse collecting dust. Some say he is in the Smithonian Institute. But I will always remember Howdy Doody and all the other wonderful characters on the show. So long Howdy, Buffalo Bob, Clarabell,-------

About Michael Frank

Michael Frank has been painting for over 35 years. He has developed his skills from attending many artist workshops and some college, but mainly from studying the works of the "Hudson River School" artists of the mid to late 1800's. Some of their landscape locations were very exotic, but it really didn't matter. Because of their attention to detail, coloring and strong direction of light, you would think that you were looking at a magical place, while in a magical moment. That's what I strive to acheive. Michael considers himself a representational luminous painter of landscapes & seascapes. He usually starts with the grisaille method of painting with a monotone painting over a white or bright yellow canvas. He then starts adding layers...
