I have been painting animals of all kinds for that past 20 years while working as a licensed Vet Tech. I feel that I know the personalities of the different breeds as well as how they look physically. I strive to bring that personality & realism into your portrait. Since I also work as a wildlife rehabilitator and was employed with a zoo I also have a love of the wild things which comes through in my painting. I mostly paint pet portraits from photos but am starting to do my own thing a bit now. I paint in oils on canvas, I also paint on fabric. I even painted on the hood of a pickup truck. I have done some murals & illustrated a children's book. I basically can paint anything except people.
