This is a painting of a small rural store a few miles from my studio that sells a little bit of almost everything. I painted it near sunset after a rainshower. If you look closely, you can see a couple of puddles. Although the store was closed, I added a dog and a couple of chickens in the foreground to give it a bit of life. It's titled "David Pace's Gro" because that's what my nephew always called it, never adding to the sign on top to make it "Grocery".
