Dawn Surfer metal print by David Rearwin. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

A surfer cuts back into the peak after making a drop at dawn. Misty morning light and the spray from the breaking wave create a soft rosy haze.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

About David Rearwin
I start with photographs--textures, objects, a face, an interaction, anything in motion--the goal is to capture a moment, a feeling and a mood. Then I combine my background in studio art and photography to create a digital image, using the techniques best suited to render each unique subject. Growing up on the beach, and being a surfer and skin diver, I gravitate toward the ocean and the scenes, people, and experiences around it (water, waves, surfers, birds, rocks)--but anything interesting and unique is fair game, especially if it has an air of mystery.
