Marlene, this is a very exciting combination of letters and images. It kind of makes me think of a book by Leonard Schlain (which I've just started), describing how alphabetic literacy rewired the human brain, created a break in human society as it had begun and altered the development of human religion, culture, gender relations and history as a whole. This painting makes me smile as maybe a commentary that through an exercise of will and creativity, we can re-integrate the linear and the rational with the feeling and the holistic. : )

Marlene , I like the consistency in your palette colors and how your diciplined approach make them work with the diversity of your subject matter. Thank you.
