Bag is gorgeous - especially love this picture of the bear. Almost wish the bag wasn't so stark white though - it may get dirty faster. If I could have changed the bag color, I wasn't aware of it. Love the bag & ordered the card that matched!!

I am very happy with my bag and take it with me when I go shopping. It holds a number of articles and attracts attention because of the dogs' photo on both sides.

Gorgeous art on a practical bag. Thank you, my talented friend, for helping me add a bit of magic to the everyday! Just the grownup upgrade I needed from hauling my stuff around in my boring grocery tote bags.

Nicole at her bee yard. Very happy with Khalil Houri's Buddha bag

Artist's Description

This work is an eclectic landscape of images symbolizing a whole: Our worlds decline and disregard for life. We start with the background, “We The People” printed out on a quasi constitution that that has been burnt, torn (in the shape of a five pointed star) and slashed with a razor blade. It is bleeding, has the blood of the innocent spattered on it and has a dried bloody hand-print symbolizing that this isn’t something new. Peering through some of the burnt holes are eyes of leaders and other authorities watching us and hiding behind the constitution to do so. The Fence symbolizes the American dream of family: The husband and wife, two point five children, a cat and dog in a house with a white picket fence. But the fence isn’t perfect, one slat represents a damaged family while another one was removed because it didn’t conform to what society says a “Family” is. In front of the fence is the blood that has been spilled by our leaders for the freedoms they say are being jeopardized. T...

About Robert Morin

Who am I? Of course, a name doesn't define who anyone is and a few words is just the cover on the book, but let's give it a try anyhow: The year was 1971 - Dick was in the white house, shaft was in the theater and D.B. Cooper in the air. I was born on a cold and windy March day in New Hampshire. It was a Saturday and I remember it well. I had been feeling a bit claustrophobic the past few weeks and really wanted to get out of there... Ok, perhaps that is overkill, besides I don't remember the day that well. I got slapped on the ass and that ruined the whole thing for me. All in all though my memories are rather vivid... I do remember the mobile that hung over my crib, plastic shapes of color that spun and danced in the summer...
