I had never been to Death Valley before. We decided to drive through it on our way to Las Vegas. It is actually a very interesting place to visit and has a lot of unusual beauty. I was surprised at how many tourists visiting and many of them were from out of the country. There are highs and lows in Death Valley. We were on the high and looking down to the low. Very fascinating. Thankfully the temperature was comfortable when we went.
