I had never been to Death Valley before. We decided to drive through it on our way to Las Vegas. It is actually a very interesting place to visit and has a lot of unusual beauty. I was surprised at how many tourists visiting and many of them were from out of the country. There was one patch of Sand Dunes. I was able to partially walk out on them. I have never seen such fine sand in any of the places and beaches I have visited. It had bits of mica in it and it made it sparkle.
