I absolutely am in love with this purchase. It has been worn a few times already and has held up great after each wash with no fading, loss of shape or pealing. This graphic works best I think against the grey I chose. Love that this artist represents the beautiful diversity of our Puerto Rican culture. This image resonates with me being that I am Puerto Rican of mostly African descent. Thank you Ida Yvette Robles for representing all of us Boricuas!

This item arrived stained and dingy. The t-shirt itself has a stain on it and the color is absolutely nothing like the photo. The product detail has my image on a white tank top; however, the tank top that arrived looks like it was washed with a bunch of brown clothes and has a dirty look to it, aside from the stain. I took a picture of a Gildan white t-shirt I own (thats been washed several times already) with the tank top I received to show how dingy the tank looks. I've opened a ticket regarding a refund or replacement on this item and still have yet to hear back from anyone. Yet again, not a good first impression for this company.

Artist's Description

Capt. Don S. Gentile started his combat career with two victores over Dieppe flying Spitfires as an American volunteer with the Royal Air Force's 133 "Eagle" Squadron in 1942. Transferring to the US Army Air Forces with the rest of the Eagles in September, the Piqua, Ohio native flew Thunderbolts and Mustangs for the next year and a half with the 8th Air Force's 4th Fighter Group based at Debden, Essex. Don finished his combat career in April 1944 as the 4th's top ace, with 19.833 aerial victories with the group (21.833 total), plus 3 damaged, a title he holds to this day. He died in January 1951 in an accident while flying a T-33 near Forestville, Maryland. One of Don's three sons followed in his father's footsteps and became an Air Force fighter pilot and instructor in the F-16 Fighting Falcon.

About Wade Meyers

Wade Meyers spent his early years at Fort Bragg, North Carolina before his family moved to Bossier City, La. when he was ten years old. Fulfilling a dream, Wade soloed a Cessna 150 at age 17 and went on to earn his Commercial and Flight Instructor pilot certificates. After high school, he earned a B.A. in History from Louisiana State University in Shreveport while serving in the US Air Force Reserve at Barksdale Air Force Base. With marriage came a move to the beautiful Birmingham, Alabama area. Diving in head first, Wade quit his job at an aviation museum in 2003 and began to work full-time as an aviation artist. He started accepting commissions immediately, and to this day his work is primarily commission-driven. Along with his...
