Loved rag effect, loved the purchase.

I received a request to write a review for this poster. A bit difficult to do since I never received my order. I also never received a response to the two emails I sent asking about my order.

I ordered this for my dads birthday. He loved it and so do I. I am constantly amazed at each picture Brian takes. He just seems to have an uncanny ability to capture what the naked eye seems to miss. My husband is making a frame for it and once we have it completed I will post the completed project. I hope to order more -- this time for me.

I've seen not seen evidence of this coming. Please update me, or we can cancel it. There's a set of three.

Artist's Description

Decontamination of buildings after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, Ukraine. A worker in a protective suit sprays decontaminants on a building. In April 1986 one of the reactors at the Chernobyl nuclear power station, Ukraine, exploded. It released large quantities of radioactive material into the environment, leading to the evacuation of 135,000 people from the surrounding area. 60,000 buildings were severely contaminated by the fallout and much of Northern Europe was affected.

About Ria Novosti

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
