Wow, Dorina!! Your rendering of him being there, but not, is exquisite! This is such an emotionally charged piece. Beautiful. Thought provoking. Exuding love, but also deep sadness. Also, I love the gold thread unraveling from her clothes and floating all around her. Perhaps she feels as though her life is and has been unraveling, but the gold would imply to me, that it was an extraordinarily special life...with him. I love the mask - we can feel her emotions, but not completely... She (you) will only allow us in to a certain extent... Sorry for the lengthiness of this comment! I'm still seeing things in this piece, but I'll stop for now!! :) ~l/f
