Colorized from a black and white - 1919
This is Dr. SB Johnston Dentist, this is is office iin 1919. Sometimes its hard to figure out the colors of these old chairs. According to google, they came in many colors, I saw one with a red frame and a black base that looked sweet, but didn't look right for this room, so I chose this coloring. The brass I didn't want clean and shiny, it was being used so it should look tarnished. The walls were originally going to be blue, but my eyes jumped too much between the wall and the window, so I went with beige.
I cloned out a few small things, a line on the trim at the bottom, that haze, and that wire. While it was a part of the story, it was distracting there. I chose not to color the letters, figuring that it was back painted and the gold parts are on the outside, and we'd see the black back part. plus it would have been a pain to do.
