Thank you so much, Phyllis!!

superb Mia! love the light and composition.

Mia DeLode replied:

Thank you, Pamela!

Mia, I agree with so many others above, the light and shadow creates such movement that you can almost hear the thundering of the horses as they come down the mountain. It is TRULY magical! voted

Mia DeLode replied:

This painting has always been a favorite of mine and has recieved very little attention. I guess I just didn't put it in the right place, thank you so much, Cheri!

Mia, it is not very often that I cannot find words but here seeing your works, I am so touched. Whatever you show is like a continuing melody - the viewer can feel the deep love you have to this way of life - only one word is good enough to say for this - masterful !! - Dagmar v/f

Mia DeLode replied:

Oh My! Thank you so much, Dagmar. I do love my life and I am so glad it shows in my art. Your very sweet and kind words brought a tear to my eyes. Thank you.

This is a lovely village called "MAIKAMMER". The wine of this area is so good. It makes the people happy. What a wonderful picture you have taken, Philip! I love it.

I ordered this bag to be used by my very handsome 84 year old gentleman friend when he goes to water aerobics with me everyday, He grew up in Harvey Illinois as the oldest of five children in a economically challenged family. There were no books in his home and he was thrilled to find a public library where they let you borrow books to take home and read. It was the start of a lifetime of the love of reading and learning and the pathway for financial success. Thank you William Brody for creating this painting.

About Mia DeLode

Mia DeLode

Mia DeLode is a fourth generation rancher from central Montana. Born and bred to be part of the rural west, she is an accomplished painter, sculptor, and writer of the culture, animals, people and the humor that is unique to western living. Her paintings appear in many shows and her writing has been featured in Crazy Woman Creek published by Mariner Books, a three part anthology of western women. She was given special recognition by the Montana Great Falls Historical Museum for her work titled "1890's First Responders" featuring the last working team of fire horses in the United States.
