I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

The "Desert Gypsy's" in this painting live in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona near Oatman. They are the wild burro's descendants from the mining days and from pack animals who carried the goods brought by men to Arizona.
About Shari Hazzard-Doyle
Biography About the Artist Shari Hazzard-Doyle grew up in Kodiak, Alaska. She sold her first painting in high school and was determined to become an artist. Leaving Alaska behind to pursue her education, then returning, she married and continued to study art on her own. Shari has sold numerous works including commissions for the Kodiak Crab Festival poster, the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge Anniversary poster, and a National magazine cover three consecutive years in a row. Shari has numerous artworks in a museum, public collections, many private collections and has won several awards in art shows.
