Gotta love it. Our Seattle Art Museum's Sculpture Park has an oversized item that would go well with these machines and anyone under 20 years of age would be scratching their noggin wondering what they were looking at. It is a giant sculpure of a typewriter eraser. Talk about a blast from, in todays perspective, the stone age even if it seems it was only yesterday for many of us. f/v

I do have to say, We went form typewriters to computers in time that seams like blink of the eye. I remember writing my papers using typewriter and the change and adjustments to computers. I would like to see that typewriter eraser next time when I am in Seattle. I wonder how long it will take to look on the computers and think "Antique" ;-) thanks for your comment Tim.

Love what you did here! Just great!

Danuta Bennett replied:

thanks George!

That old typewriter brings back memories for me, Danuta! What a fantastic image - love the way you've composed this! V/F

Danuta Bennett replied:

Thanks Therese. These typewrites were used to write movie scripts for desert Pioneer town movie set….years back. There were abandoned after the whole movie making business ended. Now they are covered with tumbleweeds, just dreaming about their previous glory.

You're welcome and thank you!

This is a great piece, Danuta! v/f
