I love the painting, and fabric! I’ve always had Border Collies, so they are perfect for me! The insert stuffing is a little lumpy. But i am very satisfied.
This fractal abstract tries to convey the desperate anguish after children or family are hurt or killed in terrorist attacks. Sadly, powerlessness and desperation over horrific acts fuels the subsequent rage of revenge and reprisal, and the cycle continues...Homo sapiens...a fearful beast. Created in the aftermath of several especially brutal acts of terrorism across the world in late 2014.
Judged by a jury as one of the Top 3 digital art works in The Best of 2015 contest sponsored by the Everything in Moderation Including Moderation administered by Sydne Archambault in January 2016.

The eye seems to hungrily seek out repeating patterns by instinct, while the mind assembles separate or even disparate pieces into a single cohesive whole. Fractal art spontaneously elicits a gratifying union of both processes. I create fractal art through a digital medium. I am drawn to making fractal images that evoke a sense of the familiar. The joy that comes from uncovering the “familiar” while transforming fractals can be intense, similar to the “eureka!” moment of an epiphany. Many of my fractal designs are specifically created to mimic elements found in our daily lives. The most frequent themes of my work are candies, flora and fauna, machinery, and fanciful...
