Many years ago, my uncle Thomas (Tom) Phillip Hufford asked me to come up with a word the opposite of predator. Amitor is that word. Ami: Fr. friend, Amigo: Sp. friend, Amity: Eng. harmony, Ami: Formosa, Taiwan. Giraffe: non predatory animal unless young attacked. Butterflies: live, love, laugh, hope.
