Wow, what a great opportunity, Meryl! Hope you had a blast!

We just danced and sang to Neil's concert again. What an amazing performer and song writer. His band is joyous!!

wonderful work! v

Thanks much, Michele, and as well, I truly love his music, still today! I truly appreciate your gracious and welcomed comments on this piece, and for visiting my website. It is much appreciated. That is what family is all about to support one another, and you surely are doing your part in supporting the artists in our WFS group. I, Personally thank you so much for all of your support, your positive and inspiring comments, and your dedication to our group's success. Forever, Elvis

My favorite singer, this is my PIF v/f

Sound like something I might have done, when I did the Elvis and Blues Brothers show statewide, but now, I flail my arms to get attention for other reasons! LOL Thanks so very much for your visit and comments on this piece, as it really makes my heart feel good to know others are interested and like some of my works. I usually don't post much of my work, as I try to PROMOTE my members' works, but hearing from you, is very heartwarming to me. Thank you, thank you very much! Forever, Elvis

I was at my first Diamond concert when our two teenage sons saw their mom in a new light, screaming " Neil, Baby", with flailing arms that accidentally swat a man ! I was go go dancing!

Thanks Phyllis, s this was a new venture of mine, as I have a friend who does karaoke of Neil Diamond, and when you close your eyes, it is him, for sure. So this was a tribute to my friend.

Nicely done, Randy-----voted!

Thank you so very much for your commentary on Neil, as I love his music too! I appreciate your photo, and it will be FEATURED on our site very soon! I also appreciate your love for music that was actually music to be listened to or danced to, without smashing guitars, throwing drinks, or screaming! I can do without that! Thanks for the great bio info and will be awaiting the submission to the group site. Forever, Elvis!

Randy, this is a very timely portrait of Neil. Its funny that I drive by his studio everyday. You would never know its there as there is no markings on the door but my wife has been to the studio and met Neil in his private "clubhouse". I just posted my Hot August Night portrait of Neil in concert. He is reprising his famous Greek Theater concert in a few weeks. Imagine that he was 31 years old back then. I will send you a submission to the group site

Thanks much for sharing this wonderful story with us, Shasta, as that is how everyone starts out, and then you get a following, hopefully, and everything blooms from there. I am really sorry that My Elvis White Jump Suit, shrunk, as I still miss doing it, but they don't make threads strong enough to hold in the "King" any longer, so here I am on FAA, but enjoying my Elvis music, while working on the "puter". Loved your story, and again thanks for sharing!

I was reading and enjoying Jamie's comment: My son ( age 40) has mastered the "sound alike" Neil Diamond and even looks a bit like him. People in southern Oregon who don't know his real name, call him Neil as the result of his renditions of " Sweet Caroline", " Forever In Blue Jeans" and many more. It all started when he was the pub manager at the Rogue Regency. Great music .. great fun and people love it.

Thanks so much for your great information on this great artist, and thanks for the visit to the site, viewing, and for your gracious comment as it was very welcomed and much appreciated! You are very welcome for the comment on Falling Water, as it was very much deserving of all the praise it receives!

This is great, Randy. We have tickets for the 40th Anniversay of Hot August Night at the Greek Theater here in SO CA. My husband was at the original concert 40 years ago. I'm a little younger, so I didn't make that one, but made it to "Love at the Greek" in 1977. We've been to every concert since. Our kids (43 and 40) are huge fans, too......most concerts you see multi generations of families. He is the master. Thank you for your very gracious comment on my "Falling Water" painting.

Thank you so much, Angela, as I love the Oldies, and Johnny Mathis, Roy Orbison, Dean Martin, The Bee Gees, and I could go on, but love the oldies, but true music. I am so glad you liked this one, as it means a lot to me.

Thanks so much for your supportive and inspiring comment, Joan. As, I have a lot of faves in the Hall of Fame, but still love the oldies! I appreciate your insightful and respectful comments!
