Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Artist's Description
A few years ago I spent two weeks painting in and around a little town called Dieulefit in northern Provence. Watercolor was my "thing" at that time and my pictures were the old fashion kind - not digital! Shuffling through them recently, I rediscovered this charming street where we often ate. I have been working to inject more color in my paintings and decided to try painting on a tomato red background as I have observed other painters doing. It really seems to make the colors "pop". I painted this quickly in an impressionistic style.
About Ann Caudle
A long time Alabama resident and former engineer and teacher, Ann Caudle now devotes her efforts full time to painting in pastels and oils. She is inspired by light and shadows and identifies most with the American and French Impressionists. She has traveled around the US and Europe to paint the landscape, but she equally enjoys painting both figurative and still life subjects. She seeks to give the viewer to new appreciation of the nuances of color in common scenes and objects. Ann is a Signiature Member of the Alabama Pastel Society.
