"This old house is falling down around my ears
I'm drowning in a river of my tears
When all my will is gone you hold me sway
And I need you at the dimming of the day"
-from "Dimming of the Day" by Richard Thompson
There is a certain melancholy about this photo of a single decaying leaf. It is alone with just a single light illuminating it from above. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise I thought of this particular song when processing.
