I did not recieve this yoga mat that I orderd.
How precious is shalom bais! How much advice is sought in its attainment. The Talmud here promises us our desired goal with apparently very simple advice: we must merit it. This can be understood as a two-fold proposition. Firstly merit implies something earned; that is, to put in earnest labor. Secondly, “if they are meritorious” implies that the couple alone cannot achieve it, for only the Creator alone knows their true merit. Thus if we direct our labor towards its true reward, the dwelling of the Divine Presence between us, we can hope to receive His assistance in the matter—we can then patiently labor until we see its realization. When I paint a painting I choose a subject, a saying of our sages, for example. I choose a subject that I need to ‘grapple with’ in my life. The painting process is a most excellent way to penetrate the depth of the words of Torah, and to change myself through them, as I have made efforts to explain at length in another place.
please note: as my artworks contain Words of Torah, they are considered as "d'varim sh'b'kedusha", objects with spiritual sanctity, and as such are subject to all the "halachot", concerning such objects; the same as "sifrei kodesh", holy books. Please bear this in mind when purchasing my works: that they be treated with the proper sanctity. In this, the blessing for you from these works for will be full. Also, to my Jewish appreciators: please refrain from viewing this website on the Sabbath. thank you --------------------------------------- David Baruch Wolk was born and raised in America.
