About John Ullrick
My photography covers a wide range... scenic, nature, city life, rural life, people. My goal is to not just capture images, but to find and present the artistry in my subjects. I have been an artist most of my life. My emphasis has been on fine art using oils, acrylics, and pencil. With the advent of digital photography, I saw the opportunity to transfer my experience and expertise into this new realm. I view photography, not as capturing images, but as another medium to create fine art. I want each of my photographs to be a quality image strong enough to hang next to the finest paintings and drawings.
