DNA viewed down long axis. Circular and symmetrical figure like a mandala. DNA is a double helix whose strands are linked by base pairs. DNA encodes genetic information in the sequence of these bases (adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine). The coiling strands are made from a sugar phosphate polymer.

I am an artist based in Canberra, the capital city of Australia. I started working as a science illustrator in 1981. I studied graphic design in the late 70s.
