The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

The hen [female], is mottled brown, with black splotched orange bills. They can be found in almost any wetland habitat, including ponds, lakes and marshlands throughout North America, Europe and Asia migrating from the north to the south to avoid low temperatures and lack of food.
Mallard ducks prefer calm, shallow waters where they spend most of their time feeding on the aquatic plants and animals they can reach by dipping their heads below the water. Mallard ducks find their mating partners in the autumn and live together until spring.
Once mating occurs the male will leave. The female has the task of finding a safe place to build a nest in which to lay and care for 8 to 13 greenish gray eggs. This is a very stressful time for the female as she lays more than half her body weight in eggs.
