A beautiful day in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, picturing part of the gorgeous Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, which is thought to have healing properties. I spent hours in this pool, and it was very nice, especially at night, but the abundance of minerals really dries out the skin! But that shouldn't keep you from visiting! I highly recommend a stay here at the hotel and give yourself three or four nights to explore the area.
Doc Holliday died in Glenwood Springs on November 08. 1887, may he be resting peacefully and watching over us in the healing pool. I also have a picture posted of his grave site, taken a few minutes after midnight on November 06, 2016. It is entitled Visiting Doc Holliday 12 24 Am.
There are over 15 different minerals found in the chemical analysis, but the four most abundant minerals in the pool are Sodium Chloride, Potassium Sulfate, Calcium Sulfate, and Calcium Bicarbonate.
