- LENORE Your great artwork is a poignant illustration to the bombardment of the 24/7 negative news we are being constantly subjected to, as well as our own personal setbacks and disappointments! - And yet, there are also many who do care and lighten the darkness.-

Very powerful piece of artwork Lenore and amazingly powerful words to go with it. Ones spoke from real expiries not jest words thought up. The road of life is a ruff and rocky road but with the even the all bumps become less. We take one bump at a time and try not to stack them up, for a bump can become much to large that way. I watched my youngest brother ( much to young to die ) die this year. He went to see the doctor and in very hard months he was gone. The biggest bump in my life. All of life as I know it stop for me. Every bump till the time my brother Joe found out he had cancer was made smooth for me. No bump greater then the one at hand. I look to the light in times like these and fine hope there in. I we try to handle lifes bumps it all on your own they will become piled upon top of each other till we can not find our way pass them. Now that my passed bumps have been made smoother I can better deal with the one at hand. My life become seeing Joe as much as I could and nothing as mattered that once was on my mind. Now it's him being gone I have to deal with now. Bumps that were and are to come matter not to me right now. Getting my life on line will take time. It's talking like this that helps me do so. If I can find good in helping others in dealing with lifes bump then the one I'm on is not so big. Lenore I feel for you. Not look at lifes bumps all in one clump and try to make sense of it all because it to big of a bump to deal with. I know they don't always come one at a time. That they can come stacked one on another. But take them as they come and no matter how bad they are draw good from even the worst of times. I know it can be very hard do. But if you look at life for bad time and the darkness of such times you can only see darkness. And looking toward darkness one can not see holp. Draw the light and draw on the light in the worst of time and the light will lead you out of darkness. It is through darkness that light shines its brightest. Fear not the bumps for they will be there. But look to the light that is gain from each bump we cross over. If you look for the light I see in you Lenore you will fine the light far outshine the dark of darkness. May your light shine brightly Lenore so that others don't stumble over the bumps in life. Take care my friend, for more care then you'll ever know. Like

You are so very right........Lenore. And the little deaths are groping and emerging from the daily things. I love your creation. So different, may be with others, but so close to a jail that sometimes is becoming our soul. The skull is not the freightening thing, but the bars..the bars of ignorance, and fear. Rosa

Unique and moving piece, Lenore. I'm sure lots of folk in your life care. Knowing you how could they do otherwise?

Lenore Senior replied:

Thank you, Frank, for your kind comments. This work is about the human condition in general, and in particular, is a collaboration to help a friend who has had a very difficult life and who suffers from PTSD.

This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Artist's Description

For CW, as part of a series of collaborative works.

Its the little deaths I dread most. Those thoughtless or heartless words, the shouting, the anger. Judgment without knowledge, understanding, or empathy. Its the betrayals. Its the people I love and then lose, who abandon me or die, and I know life will never be the same again. Its the deaths of dreams, soul, joys, self-hood, art, and nature within my own heart I dread most. Its having to start over and over and over again and it feels like starting over will never end, until it finally does.
