The patriotic feelings have always played a big role in Israel and especially in Diaspora and are ubiquitous today. The Pin Up art, which can be called 'everyday art' (or an expression of the White-Trash-Culture) and at the same time it is a mass impact medium, is very well suited for the expression of the patriotic feelings of the Israelis and Jews worldwide. Besides, the idea was not to take things seriously, but rather to look on it ironically, with humor, what would fit the spirit of the classical Pin Up.
