Super happy how print came out, but looks a little less vibrant even after just a cool water quick wash. Still nice looking, but would have preferred the vibrancy to have remained.

Did not like the materal
A car’s tire and a manhole cover! I love playing with double exposures with my Holga camera. Since the Holga is a wholly manual camera and does not auto-forward when you take a photo, it means you can take one photo of one thing, then a second photo of another thing, and the images will overlay on top of each other right on the film itself. This isn’t Photoshop. This is the way double exposures used to be done – right in the camera. The light and shadow interact with each other on the film and create a fun result.
This is a black and white photo taken with my Holga 120 medium format film camera.
I first went into the parking lot of the Uxbridge art gallery and hunkered down to take a straight-on photo of a car’s tire there. I then went over to the sidewalk in front of the gallery to take a photo of a manhole cover. I tried my best to remember exactly how large the tire had been in the frame to then hold the camera the right distance from the manhole cover.
Our world is full of stunning beauty. Yes, it's easy to see it in a spectacular tangerine-orange sunset, but there's also serenity to be found in the smallest katydid nymph exploring its world of a trumpet flower. There's compassion in the way a swallowtail butterfly nestles in against the pollen of a day lily. The intertwining of the roots of trees, the gentle whorls of a seashell, they all hold something for us to appreciate.
