I never majored in art, though I have taken a half-dozen art classes while at Marshall University in my hometown of Huntington, W.Va. I "discovered" that I had a talent for art quite by accident when I was in my mid-20s: I needed art for my first apartment, but I ran out of money just setting up the apartment and buying furniture for it.
