Third Whoops! I was at another site and there was MY photo. Coming back here I didn't notice when I wrote the last comment that actually Robbie was still apprearing here - dont ask me why - or anything else. And I'm not coming back here except to look at the exciting paintings for any about of US pre-2008 dollars, but maybe for love if not money! So, Peace, again, and lots more etc., Bruce

Second WHOOPS! Forgot I changed headshot to me (still 69 a little while). I can't remember why I just changed them, but some places its the kid, and I'll change back soon. Peace. still, etc., Bruce

SPACE COPS GOT ME AGAIN! And just for this little bit, too! Anyway, whatever anybody SEES, I find it very exciting and in ways indescribable - which is why many of us make paintings instead of essays. Thank you for making this one and many others, Karen! Peace, etc., Bruce (and cat, Lenny, 11), oh(and also son, Robbie, 8).

Well, is nobody, not even the maker in her bio, going to comment on the title of the painting and what that might mean to or for them (viewers). Myself, I really appreciate the bright yellow at the bottom (changed here from original [wish I knew how to do that without losing comments]) which (the bottom bright yellow) sends me view up to the top (I think by its two upward pointing ends of the banana shape).

VERY dynamic; the kind of painting you cannot ignore. It demands your attention. Good work!

Updated image with no flash is now posted. Terrance, thank you for the inspiring comments.

an interesting piece...unfortunate about the light at the bottom (try outside no flash)...the piece has many aspects including number symbolism...but i am drawn to the secondary imagry that appear to the outside areas and perhaps back from the subject...it is a fresh and crisp image and has an important questioning quality...very nice tdp

This fine painting of the Tree of Life or ”Yggdrasil” as it is known in the old Nordic mythology - we live in the nordic part of Europe, in Sweden. When you look at this painting, many thougts comes to your mind.

We very much enjoy this wonderful painting of Eric Clapton, as we are fans of the talanted artist.

When I saw this image, I knew I had to have it. Since it wasn't available in apparel or greeting card format, I bought it as a poster and bought a frame so I could hang it in my room. I had to crop the white border by hand, though. Easier said than done, believe me. But the results are worth it. Rarely have I seen such a splendid combination of innocence and female beauty.

Unfortunately this artwork remains rolled in the tube. The 36 x 35 enlargement I ordered had lost clarity and was too blurred to spend money on framing. It's a lovely piece - but stick with smaller sizes to retain clarity of original work.

Very happy with my selections and this artist, Matej Prasek

Deep feelings.

Artist's Description

My nephew saw his life in this; I see horses in the sunset, some see ghouls.

About Karen L Christophersen

Paul Cezzane said, "A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art." I began my expression in art in 2007. I always thought I would become an architect. Well needless to say years have gone by and I am not an architect. I feel I impress my regret into my paintings. I cannot go backward, I am moving forward and the wanna be architect in me shines through my paintings in one way or another. I feel that some paintings are prophetic or beyond what we can see here on this earth logically. My painting "Dragon Fire" in some ways correlates to my late nephews life, he saw that the painting contained a dog way in the background overshadowing the hurt and pain and a dragon breathing fire and destruction mid-section going through...
