If you watch Drew Brees leave the huddle and step into his quarterback position, he goes through several motions on every snap. His most common motion…he licks his fingers. He does this to get a better grip on the football since it is rough and dry, a certain force of habit.
I started on the New Orleans Saints painting series after the November Rams game mentioned above. The Saints handed the Rams their first loss of the season with a 45-35 victory.
